Dinner for Six Hands at Cosmos

You already know what the star-studded hands of Victor Martin Garcia, owner of Trigo, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Spain, are capable of. Last year, we exchanged successful and inspiring visits, and we decided to do it again. Victor's visit to Cosmos was memorable for all our guests. For those who missed those events, here’s a little background about him and his restaurant.

Trigo opened its doors in August 2007, fulfilling a dream. Victor Martín (head chef) and his wife Noemi Martínez (sommelier and manager) had nurtured this dream for more than fifteen years. Before opening his own place, Victor Martín gained experience in some of the best kitchens in Spain, including Racó de Can Fabes (3***), Ábac (3***), Fonda Sala, and Santceloni (2**), among others, in León, Valladolid, Madrid, Barcelona, Gerona, Galicia, and Cantabria. Ten years after opening the restaurant, in 2017, it earned its Michelin star.

The other two star-studded hands belong to Óscar Molina. Since 2008, Óscar Molina has been the head chef responsible for the entire gastronomy of Ibiza Gran Hotel, the first hotel restaurant in Ibiza with a Michelin star. Óscar Molina offers a menu with unique, authentic flavors and many contrasts, where local foods and Mediterranean products play a major role. His "honest gastronomy" reflects ecological awareness and responsibility towards the environment, respecting the purest and most original taste of foods that are strictly local, from production to consumption. Awarded a Michelin star and two Repsol Suns, he is considered one of the best chefs in Spain. Óscar Molina also won the prestigious VI National Gastronomy Award (FACYRE) in 2004 and the Ibiza – Formentera Gastronomy Award for Best Chef of the Year in 2018.

Joining these talented men is our very own head astronaut Vladislav Penov, who this year became a member of the prestigious culinary guild JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs. Together, the three chefs will create a six-course menu, with each chef responsible for two courses.
